Overview of Study

A multi-center, open-label, uncontrolled study to investigate the efficacy and safety of the transdermal contraceptive patch in a 21-day regimen for 13 cycles in 28 healthy female subjects. The aim of the study was to prove contraceptive effectiveness, bleeding pattern, cycle control and safety of a contraceptive patch. The investigational preparation used in this study is a new combined hormone patch which is being developed for prevention of pregnancy.
