Health Information
The Family Planning NSW Library is one of the largest family planning library collections in Australia and the South Pacific. The library provides information and research services to Family Planning NSW. The library is also regularly accessed by disability workers, clinicians, students and the community.
The library’s collection includes approximately 5,000 books and journals that focus on: contraception, sexuality, reproductive health, sex education, intellectual disability and sexuality, health promotion and family planning services.
The library is open to the public by appointment. Library opening hours are:
Monday - Wednesday: 8:30am - 4:30pm
Thursday - Friday: 8:30am - 3:30pm
Items may be borrowed by library members. To become a FPNSW Library member simply return to us a completed and signed library membership form.
The Disability Resource Collection is located within the Library. You must be a library member to access this collection.
Photocopying for the purpose of private study or research is available as allowed by the Copyright Act.
