Professional and confidential services offered at the Newcastle FPNSW Centre include:
- Information on all forms of contraception for men and women
- Checks and treatment for Sexually Transmissible Infections (STI's)
- HIV/AIDS tests and information
- Pap tests and breast awareness
- Implanon (contraceptive implant)
- Pregnancy tests
- Post-natal checks
- Advice and information about pregnancy, preconception, menopause, infertility, sterilisation, and pre-menstrual tension

Newcastle FPNSW Centre provides information on any aspect of sexual health and sexuality, for young people, and men and women of all ages.
Menopause/Women's Health workshops
At these workshops you can learn more about menopause and women's health issues, and have all your questions answered.
You'll also get up-to-date with the latest research on:
- menopause
- hormone therapy
- alternative treatments
- osteoporosis
- pelvic floor exercises
- sexuality during the menopause
These small groups (with a maximum of 10 participants) are held Thursdays 6-9pm, every three months at the Newcastle Family Planning Centre. Supper is provided and bookings are .
